ITG Brands Supports NC A&T Scholarship Endowment Fund
As part of our ongoing efforts as valued partners within our Greensboro community, ITG Brands has made a $25,000 donation to North Carolina A&T University’s Harold L. Martin Sr. and Davida Wagner Martin Endowed Scholarship fund. This fund will ensure that high-performing students have the funding support they need to pursue an education within this HBCU.
“Inclusion and community engagement are integral to our corporate values, and we believe in supporting initiatives that create pathways for success,” says Kim Reed, President and CEO. “Contributing to the Harold L. Martin Sr. & Davida Wagner Martin Legacy Endowed Scholarship aligns with our commitment to fostering educational opportunities for all. We see this partnership as part of our broader effort to build a truly diverse and inclusive future, and we are honored to be part of a legacy that has such a meaningful impact on the community in which we operate.”
Throughout nearly 15 years of dynamic, principled and transformative leadership, Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr. has built a handsome legacy, inspiring NC A&T University’s Aggie Nation and many others beyond the university.
“What an honor to stand beside my colleagues to represent ITG Brands and honor this great legacy,” shares Wai-Fung Thompson, Senior Vice President of People & Culture. “Our commitment to people and culture is at the heart of our company’s identity and partnering with this endowment scholarship is a natural extension of our focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
By supporting students from N.C. A&T State University, we aim to foster a new generation of leaders who will shape the future of our community and beyond. We see this scholarship as an opportunity to add real value to the area while positioning our company as an employer of choice for those who share our commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive workplace.”
